If this fight does not do over a million PPV buys, something’s amiss with boxing fans.
This was a truly historical fight for WW supremacy and a historical unification of all 4 titles in the modern era.
To give it context, Floyd Mayweather has 5 of the top 10 highest grossing PPV boxing fights in history (and these do not even including the Floyd vs Mosley, Guerrero, Ortiz and Marquez fights which all did over a million PPV buys each).

If reports are accurate, the fight sold at least 700k ppvs and brought in over $50 mil. Saw this on Sports Daily.

Havent seen a number from the more credible sources.

It appears Haymon was correct that the PPV model is still best for boxing.

I can see that the PBC is doing good business. Which is why it’s the largest and most successful promotional company in the world.

This has been thus far their greatest year in boxing yet. They are delivering the fights that boxing fans want to see. No other promotional entity comes close to them.

PBC hit the proverbial PPV "hat trick" with the 3 fights with Tank v Ry...Bud v Earl and the upcoming Lil Charlo v cinnamon. But it would've been outstanding if we could've got 3 more in Wilder v Andy... Mex monster v Morrell and Tank v Devin. Damn 2023 would have gone down as the greatest year for boxing.
