Like the thread title says, I'm coming from the same angle. I don't bet and majority of the audience don't, casuals and hardcores alike.
The layoff is not anybody's fault but the fighter. He's solely responsible for what he does as a boxer. Canelo, for example, makes sure he fights twice a year. The rest don't even care. And if I am a betting guy, it would depend not on the layoff factor. It would be on a guy with a winning mentality. Of course, we can agree to disagree.
