Jermall Charlo has no regrets about his extended absence from the ring. The longtime WBC middleweight titlist from Houston, Texas, has not fought since he scored a unanimous decision win over Juan Macias Montiel in June of 2021, due to a combination of injuries and issues stemming from his personal life.

Have boxers from the past ever talked about mental health? Genuinely seems like these new fighters are soft or weak mentally

so you equate mental health issues with being weak or soft? As a former Marine myself, I can guarantee you it has nothing to do with being weak mentally. I recommend you educate yourself on the topic

Yeah, there's something going on with the two brothers. They're at all the big fights drunk. Hopefully they both get the help they need.

I don't fault Jermall for inactivity, but I do fault Suliaman for allowing him to remain WBC Champion!

Mental health is extremely important I agree and I hope Mall gets well on that aspect but truth is hes only lucky mofo holding that belt for so long w/ out being stripped, not even canelo gets that special treatment.

I don't understand why they don't make him an "emeritus champion" who can get first crack at his belt if he ever comes back. Free up the belt for people who are actually fighting. 2 years without as defense is crazy.

FOH, you shouldve asked to named champion in recess instead holding the belt hostage. But Ill only blame you for 50% of that bs fiasco. The other half goes to the fat fcuk slob Sulaiman.

but i will fault you for reacting like a püssy when plant slapped the lion outta you and you had no reaction.

If you got mental health issues then walk away there's no right to be boxer but a choice. There's excuses need to stop either defend your title or leave.
