Porter came to ESPN. Garcia could have done it. Thurman could have done it. They didn't have belts. They were being advised against it.
So are you connected with AL Haymon and PBC to know what they were advised? But everyone knows Crawford resigned with Top Rank. And many wonder how many more meaningful fights he would have if he didn't.

They were either chicken, or were advised against it. Spence had to demand to fight Crawford, just as Porter did. Haymon did not want it.
A strong conviction or belief with no evidence does not dismiss facts. And everyone who knows anything about boxing knew when Crawford resigned with Top Rank it would be near impossible to get the meaningful fights. Unless he was ok with not getting them at that time.

And there are countless articles speaking on when Crawford surprisingly resigned with Top Rank. And the opinions of those connected in the boxing world.

Any of them could have done the same. Haymon absolutely knew his guys would get slaughtered. Better to keep it on "their side of the street." Fool guys like you into thinking they were great. You are a rube who bought into "their side of the street. It was an artificial obstacle. It wasn't impossible for Garcia or Thurman to fight on ESPN to try to get Crawford's belt. Why wouldn't they?
Anything wasn't impossible. What we know is Bud resigning with Top Rank made it near impossible. And the proof is the damn fight didn't happen until he parted ways with Arum. Which is what he should've done when he had the chance.
Whats more plausible is he didn't want to be in the driver's seat of his career. Because he wouldnt have a promoter to blame why the fight didn't happen. Or why he hasn't had a meaningful fight his whole campaign at 147 til almost 36. There would've been more pressure for him to actually take competitive fights. As you seen what he did in his new found freedom. A fight with David Avacado Avenyasan. He would've been fine never fighting Spence. So Spence had to force him.
Thats this new generation garbage. Take the easiest path and say everyone is running from you. And people pick a side. Who they want to believe. 36 and finally beat a great opponent. After he flew through a windshield lol. He likes to fight cripples. A guy with a bullet in his leg, 2 broken orbital bones, glass chin Kahn, and a guy named David Avacado because it just fits lol.
He had to take these lesser fights because while the other 147 lb fighters were beating the hell out of each other, he was heavily avoided. Yeah ok dude.
Research some articles about what the boxing community thought about him resigning with Top Rank. And these new Gen idiots are comparing him to Mayweather after his 1st great win at 147. While Mayweather was beating hof fighters at a young age

The hard part about his situation though is that these fighters bust there ass to get in position to get a title and the acclaim and money that comes with that. It's a shame that a fight that shouldn't happen can hold up two divisions. I feel bad for Tim at 154 and Benavidez.
