Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson In Awe Of Terence Crawford: "The F------ Greatest"

Shakur Stevenson is not only talented but he also has an eye for it. From the moment the former Olympic silver medalist threw on his first pair of boxing gloves, he studied those who came before him. Floyd Mayweather, Sugar Ray Leonard, Ray Robinson, and a handful of others - are considered the best fighters the sport of boxing has ever seen.

2nd person to say GOAT and as hardcore Bud fan, I can't agree. Sugar Ray Robinson was Crawford combined with Roy Jones Jr. I've seen old footage that shocked me! No one to this day has come close to putting it all together like the greatest ever to lace up a pair of boxing gloves.

Yes, Bud hit legendary status so to speak but, he's not the first.

      The sturdy chin of Spence?

Crawford was his first K.O artist as rival.

Brook, García, and Porter were not big punchers.

Crawford was his first rival with great power.

Lol with this american expert , thats the reason they create overrated fighters.

Bud is great bud Spence is his best win and Spence ain’t really beat many people of note himself. Crawford I rate still behind manny mayweather trinidad de le Hoya they all fought better competition. Bud is gaining ground still tho and could conceivably catch them with the right match making and wins

the ATG competition at WW is long and you didn't even mention SRL, SRR, Hearns, Duran, etc. It's one of the most (if not the most) competitive divisions in the sport throughout history. Trinidad had 15 defenses at WW against some killers so it's hard to rate TC at the top of an ATG list right now at welter. He does have time to become undisputed at SWW and that would be crazy for his legacy and his spot at the ATG list

After this doesn't look like even Boots has a chance--but I could be wrong--like many were wrong about Spence. Crawford looks unbeatable for now.

Not sure what Bud will do going forward but there might be a generation of young fighters that look at him as the greatest just as there's a generation that think Floyd is and so on.
