Does Crawford Beat Canelo at 160?

And if he does... Is this a better win than Mayweather's victory over a green Canelo?

I don't believe Canelo is past his prime. He just got beat by a bigger better man with a style that isn't easily dealt with.

Could Crawford take all the belts at 160?

Canelo would be too drained. Canelo’s best weight right now is 168. Maybe he can make 164lbs, i’m not sure.

And no, any win over a drained fighter is a bad win.

Canelo was drained for Floyd. Is Canelo fighting at 160 really that bad? Back when he was doing catch weights near 154 he should have been fighting at 160.

Canelo wasn’t drained for Floyd, he and his team were clear that 1 pound made zero difference. Canelo made 152 easily after weighing 153 his previous 2 fights. He had zero trouble making 154 back then, probably could have still made 147 if he needed to.

Canelo KOs him at 160. 160 was Canelo's peak.

But, it's difficult to make 160 for him nowadays. He added extra muscles since 2019. He gotta test himself against Jermall first for WBC belt. Crawford should be easy win for him if he beats Jermall.

You’re going to sit there and compare a 154lb fighter at a 152lb catchweight, to a 168lb fighter fighting at 160?

It’s not about what he should’ve or could’ve been doing when he was younger, the fact now is that 160lbs is too low for him. Canelo is too big for 160, too thick, big neck, broad body. He’s ripped at 168 weigh in’s. He can’t make 160. Why would you even want him to make 160? That would do nothing for Crawford. Like I said, maybe 164-165lbs.

Crawford is almost 36, so I don’t think he has much time left. But right now he could beat anyone through 160.

Canelo can no longer make 160. So it's a pointless debate. I will say that Crawford is a better fighter. I have no doubt about that.

Day of the fight weight for Mayweather, 165. Day of the fight weight for his previous fight withTrout, 172.

after that fight the Canelo weight of 155 was born.

Actually I wanna see Jermell at 168, Jermall at 160 and Crawford at 160 for Canelo. If he can make 160 without too much problem, it's easy gauntlet.

Current boxing is ***in on fire.
