I'd rather see TC try for Mell at 154. Boots can make his own legacy.

I definitely want to see this fight, but it doesn't look good for Boots.

Yes yet Erroll will exercise rematch clause. Can't blame him this fight sold near a mill the rematch would sell 700k which is still a nice check also dude shouldve took a warm up before fighting the elite after such a layoff looked slow, the rematch bud will win cause it won't like Erroll was ever fast but damn this was lopsided to the t. Ideally Spence would go up to 154 n boots would be Crawford next fight he got the speed n reach n is a switch hitter as well let's make it happen

Won't happen, Boots saw this tonight and will not call Crawford out anymore until he moves up

That's the only interesting fight left for Crawford at 147, but I think it's still too early from Boots' perspective imo. As a fan, hell yeah let's do it; if I was on Boots team I'd want Crawford to move up and vacate and allow Boots to try to build himself up as a champ against the rest of the contenders and then maybe fought Crawford in a couple years at 154 after he has really come into his own.

With that being said, I'm sure GB want to have an in house DAZN PPV where they can crown Crawford as a God and give there boy Rocha a title shot. PBC will probably be pushing for Stanionis and the winner of Ugas/Thurman as well. I never fault a guy for choosing NOT to move up in weight if they are comfortable where they are at, but from a fan perspective again, if it's not Boots, I don't really have interest in seeing anything else for Bud at 147 and would like to see if he is challenged at all at 154.

I really like Boots. Before this fight I was pumped to see Boots in there with the winner…

After Bud’s performance tonight I honestly think Boots ain’t ready for that yet.

I’d like to see Boots prove himself vs Thurman before jumping in with Bud

Nah. If Ennis’, 27yr old, 30+ fight, decorated amateur career having ass somehow misses literally everyone (he’s missed everyone already barring an old Crawford). Then what a lame *** Ennis is. He better bend over for the Crawford fight next.

Huge step up in class for boots and he will drown.

Of course! Bud would receive a lot of respect for taking on such a highly touted younger contender. The fight may grow in significance depending on what Ennis accomplishes afterwards

I think there is definitely enough of an age and experience gap to say that Ennis is part of the generation after Crawford and Spence, but I get what you are saying. If I'm team Ennis, I see the jump from Villa and Chukhadzian to Crawford like trying to jump the grand canyon. As a competitor (and businessman) I'm sure Boots wants that fight, but I'd want a couple real contenders before the big fish if I was on his team.
