The lad could really be innocent, but changing nothing after popping the first time then popping again! Sure sure sure. No different to Dillian Whyte popping for a substance that can only be injected yet they called that contamination to.

Let them all juice if you not going to ban the ones backed up by mismatchroom.
Not to say he did or didn't take it willingly by Dillian Whyte tested positive for trace amounts of Dianabol which is definitely not a substance that you can only take by injecting it.

The title of this article is wrong - Benn has NOT been cleared by UKAD.

The independent National Anti-Doping Panel (NADP) have found in Benn's favour in his appeal and so UKAD have had to "unsuspend" Benn.

UKAD have 21 days to appeal this decision by NADP and will be reviewing the ruling before making a decision.

I hope UKAD do appeal because if Benn gets away with this then it sets a dangerous precedent as it drives a coach and horses through WADAs assumption of strict liability.

Strict liability (i.e. being responsible for whatever ends up in your body) stops the BS that happens with the WBC where dopers can get away with getting popped by making excuses

up about Mexican beef, herbal tea, eggs etc.

Strict liability implies that even if Benn really had clomifene in his system from eating a lot of eggs - this was his responsibility according to WADA rules and he should get a 2 year ban

(half the 4 year ban if it were deliberate). This decision by the NADP could be terrible in the future for UKAD as it could make catching dopers even harder.

BTW - I don't know why so many articles on boxing websites are so inaccurate when dealing with doping but they repeatedly do boxing fans a dis-service by writing inaccurate crap

time and again. Boxing journos need to get their acts together on doping - it's as if they don't understand what's going on themselves.

Who knows what to believe in this sport. For me, TOAA, he is absolved. I look forward to seeing him against the elite WWs.
