50/50 fight.... thinking if i should put some money on spence.

I’m betting Spence. While Crawford is more technically sound, I have seen Crawford hurt and by smaller guys. I’ve never seen Spence hurt.

Spence is a pressure fighter and I think he will make Crawford fight at a pace he is not comfortable with but then again Crawford counters could slow down Spence attack. Either way I’m going with the younger, bigger, stronger more durable guy in what should be a close fight no matter who wins.

Also, does Spence have the foot speed to force Crawford fight at a faster pace? Porter tried and he is much quicker of foot and Crawford constantly turned him. Spence is great but he fights very linear and has fairly slow feet.

the thing is that, TC is not a bum.. so we cant just assume that spence's pressure is going to throw TC's gameplan off.. we dont even know if spence's pressure is gonna be effective. like you mention, TC's counter could throw spence's off.

Even if youre a southpaw, fighting another southpaw is a rare event for yourself too. We will just have to see fight night how it works out. What you are saying could happen and it could not bother spence at all or maybe it does bother him. From the fights i was watching of crawford, he likes to start out orthodox and then after a few rounds switch southpaw and seems to really throw the opponent off all the plans they made just went out the window.

I totally agree. The thing about Spence being a southpaw that, in my opinion, gives him the advantage, is: he knows what a southpaw does. He trains southpaw; he fights southpaw; and, every now and then, fights a southpaw. I cannot think of one off of the top of my mind, but if Spence is a master, class boxer, he understands the southpaw. If Crawford cannot outbox him as a southpaw, he definitely won't as an orthodox

But I expect this fight to be like Hearns vs Hagler. Just a brawl from start to finish. I know that life can be disappointing. So, I believe Spence will win by MD. Maybe a draw, so they can run it back and it be even more intense in the 154 division.

the fact that top rank fighters are i believe 24-4 against pbc fighters is significant. its something crazy like that. herd animals like to listen to morons say top rank has easy fights. but that record shows just how well they are of stepping their guys up the right way. they are the building company.
