This younger generation in general are different

Shakur, Haney, Teo, etc. . .are already concerned with building legacies & aren't talking that "letting fights marinate" nonsense of the last generation.

I think it's also poignant that none of them are with PBC.

Wilder would rather just wait for the Joshua fight, instead of taking an interim fight.

Lomachenko is probably still weighing his options. He's gotten over his loss for the undisputed by now. We'll see what happens.

Great example of a case where a boxer is afraid to get derailed. I always thought Ruiz/Wilder is going to happen. Yet Wilder and Malik claim Ruiz is an easy fight.

He knows he's the most talented fighter at 135lbs and he's not a cash cow. It makes sense for him to want all the smoke, but still, we have to respect him for it.

Nothing wrong with calling out fighters outside your own promotional contract. The media asks silly, fantasy questions most of the times even when they knew fights are not that easy to make in cross-promotional situations. But when it's becoming clear these fighters are not mentioning names that are within their management's reach, then there's gotta be something wrong in the picture. I don't see such thing in Stevenson's case.

There's difference in Haney. You may have the impression of Haney wanting all the top guys, but I don't think he would take 2nd tier fighters for stay-busy fights. He'll fight total bums or washups, or guys that can no longer bite like Gamboa and others. I don't see him taking on De Los Santos, Martin, Zepeda, Pitbull, Jamaine, Muratalla, etc.
