I'm not mad at Manny, but it's interesting how people have selective outrage! Even Oscar brought B-Hop from 160 to 156, but he's mad that Tank brought Ryan down from 140 to 136!
    easy call --

    1. floyd wanted canelo at 147, then team canelo rejected and floyd said 150, then team canelo agreed to 152 to make the fight.
    2. oscar was the one who called pac out at 147

    anything else?

"I'll tell you the truth of what happened," Alvarez said in Spanish through translator Eric Gomez. "Why would I give up the weight? I'm at 154. I'm the 154-pound champion.

"I wouldn't do that. But when the (fight) negotiations started, they wanted me to go to 147. I said that's physically impossible. I couldn't do it. Then they inched up to 150. I said I can't do it, that's impossible. Those days are over. I can't make that weight anymore, I've grown.

"Then they went up to 151. And then finally, so we could make the fight, I said, 'If anything, I'll give up two pounds. I'll go up to 152. I agreed to that. Then they tried to force me to be quiet and not to mention anything that they came up with the weight of 152. And that's why ... I haven't said anything until now.

Oscar shut your big mouth already, stop bitching about the past, first it was your mother, and now it's about Pacquiao, who's next?
You're literally doing outside of the ring what your opponent's couldn't do inside the ring to you, and that's destroy your reputation/legacy.
You really need professional help, because your inner demon's are really getting to you, continuing down this negative path can have self destructive result's.

Y'all trying to hard to justify Manny's weight shenanigans. Oscar just wanted one last pay day. Pac exploited him.

So in 2006 he took the infamous fish net photos.
In 2008 he was drinking during camp.

Suffice to say he was probably on that booger sugar and drinking when he was training for the Floyd fight in 2007 and still got a W on one of the scorecards.

You guys need to chill - I put Oscar on blast ALL THE TIME, but he's not making excuses here. He's a mess and he's saying just that - he was and is a **** up.

The Pacquiao fight was just as big a fight as DLH-Cotto but appeared to be an easier fight due to the size difference - turned out to be a massive miscalculation - but as he said, he and everyone else know he was done. He barely got by Steve Forbes. He was going to get his ass kicked against a top tier fighter... be it Margarito, Cotto, Pacquiao, whoever.

Say what you want about Oscar but he’s finally being honest with the public. Gotta give the man respect for coming clean on his downfall in as much detail as that documentary is showing us. It should be a lesson to others. Also, some of y’all joking about this man’s fall from grace are tacky af.
