Fulton is a bum

Fulton is not a bum, I myself was caught in the "he's bigger, he can win" delusion, at the beginning. I had momentarily forgotten how he had struggled with people like Arnold Khegai, and how he arguably lost vs Figueroa. People on lower levels than Inoue, and Fulton barely defeated them.

With that in mind, and remembering instead what Inoue had done to date - namely, outclassing AND destroying all comers - the only logical conclusion was a KO win for the Monster.

I sat down and watched Fulton just before the fight and my conclusion was b-level fighter. Guy can’t fight at all, he just plays keep away.

He definitely could’ve been a problem with this. Remove clinching and a lot of the modern american styles fall apart though. You can only move and defend so much before things get through, helps trmendously to cut the acitivity in half with excess clinching. Damn I miss Leonard’s boxing. Prime Thurman is what “boxers” should be.

I don't think Fulton a bum at all. He was the best at 122 but Inoue is making everyone look like bums it's crazy to watch how he's levels above everyone.

Figueroa would have done a better job. He's got a solid chin and won't easily get intimidated and would never back out in any fight. He may be slower, but would certainly try to get even in an exchange where he's losing points.

I respect Inoue, but Fulton fought like a scared girl from the start.

This is why I respect Bivol even more. He understood he was a bigger man in Canelo fight. And fought like a bigger man.
