Great move for Davies, having a major promoter backing him gives him leverage in a purse bid with Golden Boy putting in a strong bid for the Rolly on DAZN to drive up the price and his paycheck if PBC wants it they now have to pay top dollar. Also drives up his price if he wants to accept a step aside check to let Rolly fight Ryan Garcia and he is guaranteed the winner. If Rolly is injured and cant fight this might lead to him fight Ryan Garcia next for the title and Rolly fights the winner as "Champion in recess". Many options for Davies

Rolly loses to any decent fighter. He's worse than Berlanga. I'm happy for him that he's making money , he knows how to proṃte a fight , you have to win fights too though and that's where Rolly runs into problems. If he's lucky, he'll get a pile of money to take a beating from Garcia and can retire to watch cartoons and play video games with a nice fat bank account.
