  • Comments Thread For: Frank Martin Believes He KO's Vasiliy Lomachenko

Vasiliy Lomachenko is still trying to wrap his head around his latest defeat. Losing the second fight of his career to Orlando Salido was a learning experience. His defeat against Teofimo Lopez was humbling but coming up short against Devin Haney is something that the 35-year-old simply refuses to accept.

PBC Martin would rather talk about fights that he knows can't happen. He mentions Zepeda (GBP), he mentions Stevenson (TR), and now Lomachenko (TR). All are fantasy fights that are far from happening. He won't mention Isaac Cruz (PBC) and Edwin De Los Santos (PBC). Any comment on why he won't mention PBC fighters?

Am so sick and tired of all this hype jobs who has fought absolutely nobody and only look good against average competition while almost get exposed when they step up a level talk about how they are going to KO or beat the shi.t out of established pound for pound fighters. Seem to be the thing these days. Talk about how you are going to run through established fighters and then turn around and fight a cab driver. I have respect for all fighters but this right here sounds bummish on all levels and it is getting annoying. From his performances, I highly doubt he beat Linares. That would be a good starting point to measure himself and am pretty sure Linares will take that fight.

Why would Loma accept the idea that he lost when nearly everybody in boxing thinks he won?

It's the same story. Disappear for 7 months and talk about fights that will never happen. Meanwhile, ignore real competition with guys right inside your own backyard.

And what am I supposed to do with these articles? Martin beats Lomachenko in a fantasy fight. So? What does that do to a fan exactly?

I'd be slightly interested even if you fabricate a path to make this fight happen like will Martin be allowed to fight on ESPN? Will his promoter Earl Spence allow him to? The guy who made the "wrong side of the street" thing become popular? See the level of fantasy this fight is? It's beyond miracle even. The question is why do they even waste time writing these articles? Are these just diversionary tactics or way of keeping people's minds away from Cruz or De los Santos?

I doubt this fight will even happen. Not even when they're in their 40s. I'd rather just focus on reality, not fantasy. I have plenty of that stuff already and my brain is about to explode.

Yeah, they're nothing more than diversionary tactics.

Anyways, keep 'em coming NSB, keep 'em coming. I expect the next article about Martin is about how he beats Shakur Stevenson, or maybe how he's willing to travel to Australia to fight Kambosos. Anything other than Isaac Cruz or De Los Santos.
