Sounds more like a Margarito situation. Apparently multiple fighters and trainers are confirming the bad wraps. It really puts a bad light on Inoue's previous knockouts.

There is an official and the trainer himself can point out on the night, any possibly illegal wrapping technique. Some places like Texas, allows for a different wrapping technique that plenty of people have complained about, but it’s legal. And that means Fulton is free to wrap his hands the same way so they’re evens stevens.

You may well be right. I was contrasting it to the comment about the "Wilder situation", which I assume is alluding to Wilder and his bevy of silly excuses after Fury stomped him.

As another poster said, if it is legal in Japan, then it will amount to nothing. That said, Inoue looks less incredible if his trainers are giving him an advantage like that, legal or not. And I have read where a few guys are questioning this pretty seriously. At the end of the day, if it is a legal wrap, then Inoue's opponents need to wrap their hands the same way and throw with abandon.

Is the double wrapping outlawed by the commission or not? Was the double wrapping illegal in the previous matches? If not this is a non-story. It just sounds like Trinidad vs Hopkins again, were we have the method of wrapping being illegal in certain areas but not others. If it ain't illegal, then I don't see the issue.

Legal in some places. Illegal in others. Texas for example allows it and it’s why Canelo and Pacquiao bust orbitals over there. I’d guess Canelo’s last fight too (in Mehico, origin of Reyes’ which some btch fighter’s whine about too), which prompted Ryder’s nose to go for the first time in his career.

This might be like idiot Abel before the 1st Golovkin/Canelo fight. The big time trainer didn't even know what the rules were in Vegas. If Inoue has been using this technique in previous fights, it seems likely it's legal but...I don't know

When fighting in the US, Inoue finished his 3 opponents within 7 rounds. In the UK his finished his opponent in 2 rounds. But apparently in Japan he's wrapping his hands in a more devastating way, even though 3 guys went the distance with him there and his last opponent lasted 11 rounds?
