The former welterweight titlist from Clearwater, Florida, has not fought since February of last year, when he overcame Mario Barrios with a 12-round unanimous decision. That fight was Thurman's first in nearly three years, since his loss to

i was a fan of thurman but hes turned into a real clown and a diva, he is a 'bench boy' by his own choice because for some reason he thinks he is above fighting the likes of ennis, ortiz

Neither of those fights were realistic and neither would those 2 teams have wanted a Thurman fight

          Three fights in four years.

In one of them you were almost knocked down by Josesito Lopez, in another you were knocked down by an ancient Manny Pacquiao after having talked for months about how you would retire him.

Not exactly the kind of stuff that makes people anxious to watch you fight.

Fight Blair Cobbs - thats a revenue fight for you plus a good 'warm up ' fight. For Blair its a decent step up.

              Thurman needs a tune-up and/or a title eliminator by year's end.

He'll be champion again by next year when all four belts are vacant and look to unify in a cash out.

Sucks, cuz I really like Keith. Has some good fights.

Really Cobbs ? you are trying to insult a fighter who dont have much time left in the ring, wow if he lost to that guy even in his current state of limbo it would be a bad choice for Keff. i suppose he needs a name fighter to get any chance of making a fight that might sell bc he is not going to be selling many tickets right now. Well he is trying to put his name out there............as a bench boy
