Literally one of the most pathetic careers of any fighter that could have been an ATG
Being a two time unified champion with one reign lasting 8 years long is pathetic? You're a bit of a spaz aren't you son?

He waited around for the last canelo pay day when did not even turn up to fight, so he did factually go out with a whimper. Compare that to how marquez fought manny in their last fight. GGG was pathetic.

A 41 year old sweeping the last 4 rounds against against a "prime" Canelo is not pathetic. Also consider it was his first foray into 168lbs, being a methodical type fighter naturally he would've approached it with caution.

In any case it takes two to tango. Canelo was meant to destroy him but it didn't happen for whatever reason.

Triple G in Canelos last fight looked like he humbly gave the fight to Canelo out of respect and to be the better man. Triple G is cold blooded no remorse and embarrasses his opponents in the ring big time, doesn't waste any time. With Canelo he saw the fights were too close and saw it wasn't worth beating Canelo but instead collect a huge payday.

GGG is too old to be fighting. He has nothing to prove. He was a dominant force in his prime. One of the best fighters in the last 15 years. He put on Big Drama Shows and fans loved him.

You forgot to add that Billy Joe Sanders openly said that there is no way in hell that he would fight Golovkin because he didn't want to get destroyed. It was the most flagrant and open duck that's ever been seen in boxing. Didn't Eubank say something similar, also...?

GGG was 35 in the first canelo fight and he's over 40 now. ABEL YOU MORON

Abel was the one blowing smoke up ggg's a$$ and contributing to ggg not living up to the hype as ggg was a limited fighter. Abel helped ggg make excuses for not fighting other top MWs in the division. He played his former guy out indirectly.

So he threw the fight instead of going out with a win over his rival because he's just a great guy?
