Haney only clearly won 1 round in the entire fight and that was the last round. Loma just landed the cleaner punches upon review. I get in the moment how someone could screw it up but it seems intentional sometimes.

He didn't sit there doing nothing for the first 6 rounds like against lopez so that's not fair. That was really dumb of him and to pretend like he won after Being comatose for half the fight was laughable. Then again if he beat Lopez like he beat Haney I bet they still rob him. That's just the way things go with with decisions. They are for casuals and tribalists and don't reflect what happened in the fight. Marketing

Lmao does he feel differently now that he has the Loma fight to hype him up?

          This is the take.

          I was rooting for Lomachenko.

When he hurt Haney late in the fight and then backed off, I knew he was going to regret it. Gave away too many early rounds.

Lomachenko was the house fighter. Haney took the belts back to DAZN. The implication the judges were biased towards a guy (at that point) didn't sell tickets is laughable.

Lightweight Loma beat a welterweight/Super Welterweight Haney. Just imagine if they fought in the same division...

I didn't like how Osuna was calling Haney the winner of the fight in the Muratalla post fight interview before the fight had even taken place, and they spent the whole fight week pushing a "does the old dog have one more performance left; usually the young gun wins these matchups" narrative. Getting a suspect decision, especially with the judges they had, and the fact that the Loma camp had objected to Moretti, who has a long history of suspect cards in controversial contests, prior to the fight, all just makes for a highly suspect look.

But Loma really needs to knock these guys out. He should have put Commey out too, and chose not to.
