Anyone who believes the Loma vs Haney fight was “close” is an idiot of the highest order. You couldn’t find 4 rounds to give to Haney. The man was throwing meaningless body shots that had little to no effect on Loma. The hilarious part of this fight is the way the TopRank tried to fool people into believing body shots count as much as head shots. They don’t. They never did. The reason is a headshot is much more debilitating and troublesome a blow than a body shot. I score that fight 117-111. In my 40 years of watching boxing, rarely have I seen such a weak job by an announce crew. And it’s obvious they were jaded towards the house fighter: Haney.

Kambosos is a fraud. His own battles with Haney prove that he’s not much of a fighter. He was extremely fortunate to catch Teofimo Lopez suffering from pneumomediastinum. Lopez knocks him out in the mid rounds if he could at least catch his breath. Him bandwagoning Haney is a joke.

Furthermore, judges are instructed to score headshots with more significance, you ignorant doosh. A body shot doesn’t concuss anyone. A body shot RARELY ends a fight with 1 punch. Vicious head shots end careers and leave you permanently changed as a fighter.

This is one of those fights where if you get off to a bad start in scoring a fight then you doom yourself to having a bad card. The first 3 rounds Loma clearly won if you watch it back but a lot of people gave many of those rounds to Haney for some reason and then later in the fight when the rounds got even closer they of course had to give those rounds to Haney since he did better in them than some of the earlier rounds that he "won"

Thought it was a robbery, and there's a lot about the whole thing that absolutely stinks. But Loma needs to learn to keep things out of the hands of the judges. If he had a killer instinct and was willing to be mean, he'd likely have a very different career. He's been his own worst enemy in every one of his losses.
