IDK, it sounds kind of nutty, but something tells me Eddie may be right on this one. Beterbiev is hittable and Smith has enough power to drop and hurt anyone with that quick hook of his. He'll be a sizeable underdog (as he should given the Canelo performance), but I think the version of Smith who fought Canelo is in the past. Smith will be a very live underdog in this fight.PunchyPotorff likes this.

beterbiev will be gradually slipping from fight to fight but he wont have slipped enough to lose to smith, smith has no dog in him saw that against ryder and canelo, beterbiev will be able to plod forward and land still even at 39, he might be too old to beat bivol now though

Actually, Callum's record post Canelo is 2-0. BJS retired. Yildirim is 3-2 against nobodies, Plant is 1-1, and Golovkin retired. So he's doing the best of any of them post Canelo, not counting Bivol of course.Last edited by crimsonfalcon07; 07-19-2023, 07:34 PM.

While I doubt Smith stops Beterbiev... the champion is getting old... and the end has a habit
of sneaking in there at the most unguarded moment. So I guess we will see soon enough.
Should be a great fight while it lasts.
