  • Comments Thread For: Spence On James-Ryan Garcia Union: Coaches Should've Corrected Ryan

Ryan Garcia has been trained by two of the best coaches in boxing. Garcia enjoyed an undefeated five-fight run featuring all knockout wins under the au****es of 2019 and 2021 trainer of the year Eddy Reynoso.

Good analysis from Spencer. But I don't think any coach can help a guy who just wants to be a social media star

Derick James is for a rude awakening. Spence will lose to Crawford, Jermall to Canelo, Ryan will never be top of any divison. Joshua gets schooled by Fury and Usyk.

I saw the mitts with Ryan, they were horrendous. Slow as hell, uncordinated, still horrible stance. He will make Ryan as slow as Spence.

Derrick will soon have no champs in his stable. He just doesn't know it yet.

A lot of trainers take their boxer's money - knowing it's not earned. Breland took Wilder's money.

I think Garcia is in good hands now. He still has untapped potential. He beats Pograis, btw.

I agree 100%, no trainer can give a fighter heart, and that’s what he lacks and unfortunately that’s what he will need to beat the name fighters at 140

Hopefully Derrick can teach KINGRY to use his legs and feet,he's to straight up and down and he's way too flat footed,he's got the talent, only time will tell if he has heart, and can't judge him by the Davis fight,Tank handicapped him,the mole in camp, and he had fractured rib so don't judge him yet,let see how he does when he fights another star boxer

I actually don't think he lacks heart. He was arrogant and thought he had better skills than he did and relies way too much on his hook, just like Wilder relies on his right. They'd both be way more dangerous if they had power in both hands. He wasn't listening to his coaches. Wanted to correct Sugar Ray Leonard when the ATG was trying to give him a tip. If he's gotten some of the arrogance beaten out of him and is ready to get back to learning, he may still be able to make something of himself.

All the people saying he quit should put up or shut up. Go on his YT channel and take just ONE body shot from him. Then you can tell him to his face how he quit. He doesn't even hit like Tank. Easy, right?

That’s why he is retiring in the next two years. In fact, the only person that will still keep him in the game is Spence.
Spence-Bud is a 50/50 fight so win or lose, there is a rematch and a chance that Spence will move to 154 even if he loses to Bud. I think Bud will retire if he gets beat.
AJ will most likely beat Whyte and fights with Wilder and Fury are huge money makers. Derrick James will make upwards of $20 million with the next 4 fights.
