I became an even bigger fan when he crushed HBO's Rican hype machine that Lampley referred to as a Puerto Rican Julio Caesar Chavez. I guess he didn't look the part in his fights against Mosley and Margarito and here recently Clottey. Where was his body punching?

The thing that made me quit being a fan of Margarito wasn't the fact he got caught with an illegal subtance in his gloves, but the fact that he adopted a me on top of the world attitude and he over valued himself and even went MIA and drug his feet in the Mosley negotiations and he was also unwilling to avenge his loss to Paul Williams and was calling out Manny Pacquiao at the same time. I think that he went into the fight with Mosley out of shape and looked for a last-ditch advantage and it's the first time that Capitello tried to pull something shady. I think Mosley would beat Margarito ten times out ten. I'm not denying that.

But that doesn't change the fact that I view Margarito's style as exciting and all out action, and the fact that the Cotto stans are constantly dwelling on plaster and not accepting the fact that Cotto got beaten at his own game (Body punching, close quarters combat. Cotto did that to his other opponents) is causing me to like the guy again all of a sudden. Why would Margarito constantly nail Cotto with body punches if he had loaded gloves? Can someone answer this for me. Resto landed nothing but head shots on Collins. And Vasquez's face in his third fight with Rafa Marquez looked a hell of a lot worse than Cotto's. Cotto stans are welcome to debate with me and others.

I can answer it for you: To slow him down because Cotto was too quick to be caught in the face- although he did get hit later on after he slowed down. Loaded gloves are gonna hurt no matter where you get hit you ****** bastard.

Who knows if they were loaded though... Well, I guess Margarito and his camp and God.

But the thing is that beating that Cotto got should wake up all the fan boys that Cotto isn't the second coming of Wilfred Benitez. He needs to get back to being aggressive or he is going to get run over by someone again. I don't think Pacquiao is big enough to do the job, but I think Kirkland (He needs to be free again) and Angulo are. Is Cotto just going to stay at 147 for the rest of his career? I also don't think Cotto could beat Mosley in a rematch.
I am not a Cotto fan boy, I am a fan of the sport. Cotto is not the second coming of Benitez. I do consider him a great boxer. The same way I consider Manny, Floyd, JMM. You still did not answer my question, what was the hard stuff on Margs gloves?

I'm glad that Mosley whipped his ass. But once he serves his suspension I want to see what the guy can do, and I am willing to give the guy a chance at redemption. It doesn't mean that I like the guy. I just claimed that I liked him to be humerous.

Bottom line..he beat Cotto..but he got fucking WRECKED by a man Cotto handled..

Fuck that plaster ****..he was exposed for attempting..that's bad enough for me to call him a *****!..sure Mosley too!..happy?..

You guys wanna blame the "fans" but the bottom line is that you guys sound a lil bitter that Margarito had his 6 mths of fame and it came down tumbling when he got caught..and got KTFO the same night..had he beaten Mosley there wouldn't be any question..but he looked like a roach exposed to Raid..he was weak and defenseless..and he just so happened to have gotten caught with some **** in his gloves that very same night..

Marga******s will never stop jockin him because of their pride and the hate towards Cotto..it's got **** to do wit the fans..

So at the end of the day..Cotto will be on 24/7 and lined up to fight the #1 P4P fighter in the World..while Margarito is at home watching and hoping to land a fight where he won't get exposed some more!!..

                Let it GOO!!!!!!!!!
                now thats a loaded clip!!!

And to me, Cotto fans not only won't admit that their boy got beat fair and square, but they won't give Mosley any props for what he did. Sure, there's some that do. But they want to take the shine off of Mosley's win by talking about how they think that Margarito was plastered up when he beat Cotto.

You still did not answer my question, what was the hard stuff in his gloves? Listen you said you doubt it was plaster, what was inside his gloves? It was not gauze, I work with gauze and when wet, it does not become solid hard. What do you think was in his gloves? I want a honest answer. Not some run around. I am PR, I am not a Cotto nuthugger, I respect him as a fighter and I respect the fact that he does not talk **** about other boxers. He does his talking in the ring. I respect many fighters and I am a fan of many great boxers.

Calcium and sulfer is what the ingredients were wasn't it? Was it a pad? I'm just saying that they've got ways of blowing it out of proportion. And that is not the reason why I don't like Margarito like I said earlier. I don't like him because he didn't stay dedicated and he ducked Paul Williams in a fight that would've been for all the marlbes just like Cotto did.
