So I'm a JMM fan even though I'm not a nuthugger. I think he's twice the fighter that Cotto is regardless of size. If Cotto had the balls to get into the ring with Floyd we may find out whether or not he could put up a better fight than what JMM did. You don't think that Floyd's defense could cause Cotto to gas out? I think it's possible. But Cotto leaves it up to his promoter.

Naw, see that's where I disagree. People not on Boxingscene, that I know at least, could care less about how a fighter's fans carry themselves. People who aren't on Boxingscene and other boxing forums, aren't exposed to the ignorance of some fans, which probably has a lot to do with it as well.

Well at least i don't hate Pacquiao and that I know of the most credible Mayweather fans on here don't hate on Pacquiao. Believe it or not, boxers fans may affect the way a boxer is seen.

Maybe he saw something with Mosley's style that worried him in the lead-up to the fight. The post you are quoting I mention the fact that he took his sweet time when it came to signing the Mosley fight. And plus it's well documented that he did not keep himself in fighting shape after he beat Cotto. Him and his trainer probably knew he was out of shape and Capitello probably wanted to try something to give their boy a boost. And I kind of really wonder if what Margarito had in his gloves was actual plaster. The California State Athletic Commission claims it is sulfur and calcium. Substances used to make plaster of paris, but not plaster of paris itself. That commission is also crooked like a snake as well, as we have seen with what they did with Robert Guerrero and his deal with Goosen and De La Hoya.

I'm also not making any excuses for Margarito regarding his ass-kicking to Shane Mosley. I think that will always happen period. But I think his fight with Cotto is cut and dry.

The gist of what I was saying was that no one I know dislikes a fighter, for the actions of his fans.

For example, if someone asked me if I like Ricky Hatton, I'd say 'Yeah, he's cool...but his fans are annoying as ****!'

I don't even like Margarito and don't give a fuck about him if you want my honest opinion. But the thing is that beating that Cotto got should wake up all the fan boys that Cotto isn't the second coming of Wilfred Benitez. He needs to get back to being aggressive or he is going to get run over by someone again. I don't think Pacquiao is big enough to do the job, but I think Kirkland (He needs to be free again) and Angulo are. Is Cotto just going to stay at 147 for the rest of his career? I also don't think Cotto could beat Mosley in a rematch.
