AJ has nothing to apologise for; he's done more for boxing (bringing casuals to the sport) than Spence Crawford, NO SMOKE, put together!

Unless James has got Joshua hard sparring with big heavyweights who are prepared to hit Joshua then it's all for nothing. As soon as he gets clipped in a fight he'll revert to form.

It would've been better to hear it from AJ who so far (from what I've seen) has dismissed his poor performance as, "no one will remember that fight anyway."

Hearn speaking for him doesn't quite have the same meaning and seems more like he's saying the things he wishes AJ would to help promote the fight.

"As soon as he gets hit" ? He never forgot NYC and how drunk he got in the ring that night. He will never want to exchange with anyone again. Guy would be afraid to exchange a pair of sunglasses on a sunny day, guy is so gun shy he would be afraid to exchange words a stranger. Whatever he thought he was pryor to NYC n Ruin Ruiz - he is haunted by the meomory of all that reality about himself in the ring. He only feels safe around Eddie..................

I mean, he'll be right if he starts to look good again. Boxing has a short memory when people start winning.

Personally I think he's shot. Andy Ruiz took his fighting instincts off him. But if he finds them again, win, lose or draw, I'll respect that.

I think it's better to leave hyping him to his promoter. He just needs to get back to finding what he lost and do his talking in the ring.

"finding what he lost" he lost his identity he lost his will to fight on and to make matter worst he rematched only to never throw a meaningful punch in that fight either......

"do his talking in the ring" he already did that with yousick #2 grabbing a flag and prancing around the ring, saying he is no 12 round fighter and such and so made a double fool of himself.

"Boxing has a short memory" maybe professional boxing has a short memory but the fans do not forget what he left in the ring or how he behaved after he lost it in the ring......3X's
