It would've been better to hear it from AJ who so far (from what I've seen) has dismissed his poor performance as, "no one will remember that fight anyway."

Hearn speaking for him doesn't quite have the same meaning and seems more like he's saying the things he wishes AJ would to help promote the fight.

Personally I think he's shot. Andy Ruiz took his fighting instincts off him. But if he finds them again, win, lose or draw, I'll respect that.
