They used this same excuse for Wallin, Schwarz, and Chisora... and I said they'd use it again.

Fury isn't unpredictable. He's entirely predictable. If he's not being forced to fight someone then he's going to go for the lowest risk option.

I don't blame him for taking a low risk, decent money fight. It's his brain at stake. But he should absolutely be stripped of his title.

How could the WBC possibly defend this? It's completely against their rules.

“Let me tell you, why did we make the fight? Because we tried to make the fight with Usyk, we tried to make the fight with Joshua and neither of them wanted to know."

Yes, they tried to make a fight with Usyk ... by making him an offer so bad that Fury told him he should sack his manager for allowing him to accept it!

            GTFOH, Frank.

Who? He would have been dissed whoever it was.

Usyk pulled out of negotiations and is fighting Dubois. AJ fighting Whyte. Ruiz refused and is fighting Wilder if he signs. Zhang Joyce rematch. So all those name out of the picture. Outside of Usyk or AJ which we know were not happening next. I would not have minded Ruiz, who refused the offer, or Zhang, but Joyce triggered the rematch

Who is left? I don't have any interest in Ngannou but there isn't any interest in Fury vs anyone else not locked up either. Hrgovic? No thanks

Who else is out there? Uhm, Frank, better boxers than Ngannou are available, that's for sure. He isn't even a boxer.

The attraction of these crossover events kinda faded after the Mayweather-McGregor event that was a big success due to the unknown and curiousity.

No, there are only 2 boxers in the world besides Tyson Fury and that is Usyk and Anthony Joshua. Clearly Fury has no interest in getting in the ring with any legit opponents. His career will be basically him fighting a old Wlad and a unskilled Deontay Wilder.

i am starting to think that Fury himself knows he is maybe not even top 5 anymore.
Well Fury being a top 5 fighter in this era isn't really saying much.
