Comments Thread For: Derek Chisora On Joshua vs. Whyte Rematch: "AJ Is F----- If He Loses"

The soft and smooth road was never an option for Dillian Whyte. Instead, he was asked to take an arduous path. In doing so, Whyte (29-3, 19 KOs) has several unflattering bumps and bruises. His first sc**** came against Anthony Joshua in 2015, a seventh-round stoppage loss. But after picking himself up and wiping off the dust, Whyte reeled off 11

He didn't want a rematch clause but I could see Whyte agreeing to a rematch. Money talks. Joshua's reputation would be permanently damaged though.

Whyte did not want the rematch on bad terms. He wanted a one fight deal then if successful take on Wilder.
Personally I think Whyte gets stuck drawing for straws as the Wilder v Joshua fight will happen regardless of outcome, just for less money if joshua loses to Whyte.

AJ will take a huge hit if he gets beat by Whyte and depending how he gets beat it can be even worse. Not only that he will take Wilder down with him because a Whyte/Wilder fight is not as lucrative as an AJ/Wilder. Plus they might rematch if Whyte wins freezing out Wilder even more.

            No rematch clause.

Anthony Joshua's planned fight with Dillian Whyte has edged closer after Whyte signed an agreement to face his long-time rival on August 12.
