Boots, Matias, and Tank, just hit different! Glad Villa is recovering well. Salute to the ref too, because if he didn't catch his arm, Villa was going out the ring!

When dont move your head and choose to block punches with your face this is what happens. Ellis couldnt earn Villas respect cause he has no power.

excellent performance by boots! ...villa needs to learn from maidana's textbook and throw punches from all ranges..he had 0 output when they tangled and overhands would've been useful as well , just my 2 cent!....

Villa would be competitive against anyone else in the division except the Top 3.

i hear what you are saying about "being competitive" but somehow that just dont seem like the right way of putting it after what Villa has shown in the ring as far as heart - ability to refuse to give in or up to a fighter who was showing fight skills that outmatched his own inside the ring. There is something very respectful about a fighter who stays inside and knowing he is going to get hit, knowing he has limitations and still ****s away and gives it his all. Villa was not a guy who went in and got overwhelmed by power like Adorno did last night Listen to Adorno in him corner "he hits hard" none of that was coming out of Villa"s mouth or how Villa returned every round. Not disagreeing but well.....wording a lot dif so Adorno gets the respect for the type of fighter he is. Hope he makes adjustments and keeps his heart intact.......

Glad he’s okay. He took some brutal punishment in the twilight rounds before the stoppage.

He needs to take a rest. If he wants to carry on there ae still huge fights for him at 147.
