If so. I don't agree with that.
I think Canelo can beat Benavidez without having to hurt him.

Don't forget. Canelo has a world class chin. He's been hit clean by big guys that can punch.
it’s less about his chin and more about his stamina. Canelo gets noticeably tired at the end of fights and doesn’t like to be carried fast. This has been very apparent over his last 3 fights. Benavidez will wear him down and won’t let him rest the way he typically likes to do and is able to do with less aggressive fighters. That is what will be Canelo’s downfall imo.

David has a good work rate, but he is there to eat counters.

So I am trashing Bivol because I called him boring? lol. He is a pretty good fighter but boring. Plant barely landed anything clean on Benavidez over 12 rounds, the myth of Benavidez having poor defense needs to die. My point was Canelo has proven who he thinks is a tougher challenge, by ducking Benavidez blatantly but eager to fight Bivol. Benavidez is a much more dangerous opponent, more size, speed, power than Bivol and more talented also than a basic 1-2 head hunting euro stiff.

I agree about Canelos stamina issues.
But I just can't picture him getting KO'd or gassing so bad he gets TKO'd by Benavidez.

Possibly he gasses and looses on the scorecards.
But Canelo getting KO'd or TKO'd by Benavidez... nah.

How do you duck someone who hasn't put themselves in a position to fight you? Under that reasoning Canelo is ducking everyone at 168.
