But to say he won't last 12 with Benavidez ( who couldn't put away Plant ) seems like a stretch.

Canelo should just fight Benavidez and stop this nonsense. David is there to get hit with Canelo`s counters. Or should I pretend Benavidez is some masterclass?

Benevidez, if canelo loses to him he doesnt have any excuses left
What's sad is the WBC has at least two Russians highly ranked by them and Bivol live in Cali. It's just Bivol.

The fact that Canelo tried to pull a cruiserweight down to 180, and is now fighting a 154 pounder tells you everything you need to know about him. Why isn't he fighting a 168 pounder? Is Charlo even a bigger money fight than Benavidez?

I wouldn’t use plant as a measuring stick considering how much he moved around the ring and the size of the ring he had to work with. Canelo won’t and can’t move nearly as much. Styles make fights. Canelo wasn’t able to stop or hurt Cotto but little pac did and Sadaam Ali hurt him way worse. Canelo wasn’t able to stop Chavez jr despite beating on him for 12 rounds but fonfara did. So I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch.

Benavidez should just face Bivol and leave Canelo hanging, if Benavidez defeated Bivol he would supplant Canelo as the top latino in boxing.

This actually makes sense tbh, unfortunately Benavidez nor morrell or any of those giants at 168 are willing to make that jump and sign for that smoke...a thing 5'8 midget canelo done already...twice and yet hes the one gets the heat. Funny huh.

Eddie talks lot smack but he def ain't lying with this statement, Bivol is indeed a tougher challenge than Benavidez ,you can clearly see the difference in technique.

Imo, gingerhead 3 fight deal goes like this, Mell -Mall- Benavidez.

Ok. Im trying follow your line of reasoning.

So you're saying Canelo won't last 12 with Benavidez because he has slow feet and won't be able to hurt him ?

If so. I don't agree with that.
I think Canelo can beat Benavidez without having to hurt him.

Don't forget. Canelo has a world class chin. He's been hit clean by big guys that can punch.

Bivol beats all these 168 cats. Too big, too smart, to good.
