Joshua desperately needs at least one more fight before DW & it might as well be DW, because at least he'll get paid. IMO, I think AJ needs about 4 fights against low grade opponents just to gain momentum before DW, but, I appreciate, that isn't happening. I would've had AJ fight once a month against rubbish, just to get ready, but that doesn't it into Eddy's 'masterplan'.

FCK OFF EDDIE!!!
Tyson Fury STILL has not fought Usyk, and seems 1000 miles away from even considering that fight.
If Joshua is going to fight Wilder later on in the year, then this fight vs Whyte is a risk 'Whyte is a aggressive fighter with solid enough power. Their rivalry is also genuine, Whyte & Joshua are not best mates like Chisora and Fury etc'.

Just look at this reaction it is getting from you?
Usually if you are not interested in a fight, then you don't talk about that fight.
In reality Bariodi, you are going to be talking about this fight week in week out 'And even when you are not talking about the fight, you are going to carry a attitude throughout your day while thinking about this fight'.
The fight is already sold for you, and everyone who apparently outwardly claims that it is a terrible match up etc.

Have to give Eddie credit. He has successfully sold laughably mediocre PED cheat Whyte to sucker British boxing fans for a decade. And also successfully persuaded corrupt BBBoC and nationalist UK sports press to downplay his obnoxious cheating.Last edited by VislorTurlough; 07-07-2023, 07:39 PM.

“Their rivalry is also genuine”? There is no rivalry between these two. Rivalry means two en****** that are close enough in skills that on a given day anyone can win.
Would you ever say Stan Wawrinka was Roger Federer’s rival? There was NEVER a rivalry between them. They just happened to be both Swiss.

AJ and Hearn need to stop using Wilder to sell the fight, most of us don't even believe a Wilder fight is going to happen, and are so disgusted with the bout that we won't pay for it no matter who AJ is fighting next. This all feels like one big con, it's as if AJ and Hearn realize the gravy train is done, and want to milk the unfortunate UK public for all they can. But I think the UK public is catching on, an AJ fight in August was a slam dunk stadium fight even 2 years ago, now? The O2, says it all about the current state of affairs.
