That's why I would never, ever believe the reported PPV results or figures. They are all fake and exaggerated. I might believe them 2 decades ago when there was no internet.

Nah, not in this day and age. Even the 60K - 90K range are fake and exaggerated. Not to mention this sport has become as niche as ever. I have 4 brothers and we used to watch the sport together. Now they have zero interest in it.

Personally I think that's bull****, even if I couldn't find a ****** to these cards, I would never buy 95% of the PPVs. **** cards at terrible prices aren't going to entice anybody. **** off back to your whole Espinoza

Exactly. "Piracy" is a convenient scapegoat. They should own their failure. People dont want to pay a boatload of money for garbage. As DAZN tanks (presumably) they'll have stated "reasons" for why it's somebody else's fault and out of their hands too.

I knew 2 people that had hacked boxes back then, I know dozens of people that now regularly ****** sporting events. ******s are far more reliable than they were 10 years ago as well. I also think people need to put prices into perspective, how much do you think $50 was worth back in 1990 vs today exactly?

However I also agree with this man:

I think the pirating numbers don't reflect how many would've actually purchased the event themselves, so it's probably some more like 10-20%. There are certain events I would pay for, but I certainly wouldn't watch every event that comes up that has 1 fight worth tuning in for.
There are those that will ****** and there are those that will buy, regardless. PPV buys have gone down, and it has to do with a weak product that's being offered.

The problem is there are too many fights on PPV that have no business being PPV , then there is the ridiculous prices for a PPV w/ a complete disgrace of an undercard if the main event is a dud which happens all the time the consumer ends up fckd ..........

However, many who ****** won't pay even half the price regardless.

For them, "too expensive" equals "more than 0 dollars".
No. Look at the first post by me. I want to see all the fights as I'm a fan. I can't afford to be spending $200/300 on 2/3 ppvs a month. I have a life elsewhere too - such as eating out, trips, vacations, movies, gigs. Espinoza is so wrapped up in boxing he can't see the big picture.

Stack your cards like the UFC does. No one wants to shell out 80-100 just for one fight. The main event for even co mains nowadays is some shh that is prelim.co main events to me is Thurman vs Ugas on Spence vs Bud, or Morrell jr vs Benavidez as co main on a Canelo card. It's gives views to the next in line, hypes up future fights makes you willing to pay 80 for a card with more than 1 fight. The Saudi tournament will be worth it til then a lot ain't.

Why say such a infelicitous comment, I'm a fan of boxing not the networks or fighters. Money inflates over time that is common sense with anything.
