Mccallum is one of my top 5 favorite fighters all time. No one wanted anything to do with him. That includes Hearns, Hagler, and Duran as well hahaha. So you're right about that one. I don't buy into the hype of Leonard ducking Pryor. it's the same with Bowe ducking Lewis. Just as your post stated, one or 2 vids don't tell the whole story. Pryor was offered the fight just as Lewis was offered the fight TWICE with Bowe and turned it down prior to Bowe throwing that worthless azz WBC belt in the trash where it belongs to this day.

I listened to a story about Pryor not so long ago that mentioned the details I,ll see of I can find it not even sure who was telling it, and Im not saying duck I hate that word in boxing, they have many reasons why a fighter is avoided or a fight doesn't get made and its not the way fans perceive it with great fighters.

Yes, the zero meant too much. We wanted floyd to fight boxers who could beat him, whether that was spence, brook, thurman, bradley. And floyd wasn't delivering that possibility by fighting 120lb kickboxers. We even knew Floyd was messing about and playing games when he was fighting Guerrero, Berto and madonna instead of Spence, thurman, bradley and brook all of whom were a level above Guerrero, madonna and bert o and Ortiz
