  • Comments Thread For: Spence on Crawford: Against Gamboa, He Reacted In a Courageous Way; Gets Meaner When He Gets Hurt

Errol Spence Jr. doesn't feel that the few times Terence Crawford has been buzzed in the ring should be counted against him. What counts for the unified welterweight champion from Desoto, Texas, is that Crawford responded to those moments of seeming vulnerability with greater aggression.

....and it happened because Crawford got lured into a back-and-forth and got clipped. Same as Kavaliauskas. Briefly wobbled against Porter.

Which is why I expect him not to engage against Spence.

Spence is smarter than TC in the ring as much as people think otherwise

Get it right... Mean Machine actually scored a legit knockdown of Crawford caused by a solid punch but the ref ignored it!

I have always posted that when Crawford feels disrespect in the buildup or he gets hurt in the fight he fights with anger and aggression. And one more on this post thought that was a negative.

Crawford is mean, no doubt. Whether he can beat Spence remains to be seen. 50-50 fight!

I will be interested to see how many PPV's this sells. These guys seem to be trying hard to sell this fight but they sure are not good at it. Maybe Bud should have gone for the super bad guy routine in this. I hope it does good numbers but I fear that it won't.

Crawford is a beast when he gets mad.
