100% false. Finally a boxing article mentioned what happened in the Kavaliauskas fight without adding the wishful thinking agenda about him being dropped. Its so clear that the punch that he supposedly got dropped by didn’t even land flush. And its also clear that there was a clinch that happened right after the punch landed. A knock down can only be caused by a punch; not a punch, a clinch and a slip. And if Crawford would have been hurt so badly that he went down in a late reaction there is no way humanly possible that he could’ve recovered so fast. The narrative about that being a knockdown is the most popularly accepted lie in boxing right now. And its so desperate for people to try to come up with some kind of mark against him in a fight that he put on such a dominant performance in and that he won by knockout anyway.

Nah man Crawford got hit with a right hand that rocked him so he initiated a clinch but got caught with further shots inside. At that point he was on unsteady legs and you can clearly see his left leg give way causing him to drop. That was a legit knockdown caused by a single shot and further follow up shots.Comment

Is this because you know TC only would have needed to hit a prime Errol Spence about as hard as Lartey did and Spence will be buzzed into the next round, in retreat trying to make it 3 more mins (in an 8 rounder)? A fight that happened only about 6 months prior to Crawford-Gamboa.Comment

You're hoping he doesn't engage. Your current shtick is that you desperately want him to fight like he did v Postol LOL.

Maybe it should have. Probably should have. So what? I do not get what anyone gets out of that being a KD. Does Crawford all of a sudden NOT dominate the fight, leading to the KO in the 9th? Spence's point is valid. This being a KD would only have pissed Crawford off more.Comment

When Keef was dropped by Pacquiao, for the first time in his career, Keef is on record that it F'd with him mentally and at that point, he was performing for a draw because he thought he would have no chance of winning (which was a ****** mindset).
When you get dropped after years of not getting (officially) dropped, it messes with you mentally. Don't care who you are. If that had been called, the Kavaliauskas fight might have looked way different. Especially if Crawford lost his temper, went to war and got clipped again because he hadn't yet fully recovered (ala Bradley/Provodnikov).
