When Wilder asked what does Ruiz bring the table, the answer is he stopped Joshua when he was the champ while Wilder never even fought him. I understand Wilder puts asses in the seats but he needs to remember that.

Yeah, it's very unlikely this fight happens. When they start discussing terms through the media the fight is usually already dead and the respective teams are on damage control.

If Wilder is facing AJ in December/Jan, he should just give up fitting in a Ruiz fight first. Too much time wasted on it, face some other fringe contender. For all we know Ruiz is out of the gym weighing 300lbs right now.

They had an instagram post where Ruiz was sitting and at an angle hiding his belly where he taunted Wilder back and he didn't look fat for him but it could be smoke and mirrors.

At this point they are running out of time to sign and promote this fight so this is probably two junk yard dogs barking at each other from across the road.

Why not 50-50?? Didn't Ruiz knockout the undefeated, heavyweight champion at the time? Other than an aging Ortiz, who did Wilder beat? He was severely beat down and knocked out by Fury. He beat Stivern. Who else?? Why is he the A side? Ruiz has two losses. I thought he beat Parker in Parker's backyard, and lost to the heavyweight champ, AJ.
