The damage Fury has done to Wilder's psyche is very obvious. Wilder is so delusional he thinks he can pull a 70/30 split on a fighter that has accomplished more than him. He thinks he's on Fury's level.
I believe we might see Wilder shave his hair, grow out his beard, and start taking that Michael Jakson medication soon.Comment

Possibly. But are you sure? Don't you think that all Ruiz mexican and American/Mexican fan base contributes a lot to the pot also? Wilder has always been a poor sell. He's only really made money against Fury, and in the Breazele and Ortiz 2 fights he was hugely overpaid and they took losses. A fight with Ruiz might actually generate some cash, and that's got a lot to do with Andy's popularity.Comment

That's as maybe. But Ortiz was the first genuine 50/50 Wilder fought. He may have got the showreel ko, but he was outboxed and shown up on both occasions. And what happens if Wilder beats Joshua? Because you know all his fans will rave about it. Do we say Fat Andy beat Joshua when he was younger and better? The point is, Wilder hasn't proven himself to any higher level than Ruiz. So he can hardly be all high and mighty here. But that's Wilder all over. Talks bigger than he is. He knows this fight isn't even on the table. That's why he's shouting about it. If it were, he'd be quiet right now, until it was made.
Fat Andy struggled vs Ortiz and Areola, 2 opponents that Wilder destroyed when they were younger and better. I can agree 60/40 is reasonable, but Ruiz has no opportunities to be making this kind of money vs anyone else. As far as getting knocked out by Fury, he also gave Fury his hardest fights to date, and I doubt Ruiz would come anywhere near that vs Fury.Comment

What seats? The bottom half of Barclays, or the top that they shut off. Ruiz caused a major upset against Joshua, so believe me, he's well known enough. Wilder is well known for getting destroyed on a regular basis by Fury. You don't think, Mexico and American/Mexican fans won't get behind Fat Andy? Of course they will. Why do you think Haymon exploits the fact on a regular basis, making match ups with black fighters against Mexicans. Ruiz provides his piece of the pie. It's only fair he gets to sample it.Comment

If you believe Fury's claim about that, then you need to wake up. Fury can't even keep track of his own BS. Ruiz was never offered a fight. Fury has no interest in Ruiz. And neither does Wilder. The moment Wilder starts talking splits, we know the fight isn't even on the table. PBC don't do business in the media. Wilder has already been told he's not getting this fight. That's why he's shouting and balling about it. Winning fights in the media, he isn't going to be having in the ring. That's his style. If this was going to happen, there'd be no peep from him until its announced. Why haven't the WBC ordered the eliminator? Because PBC don't want it. Not until there's a vacant title to fight for. Then it'll get ordered and you'll not get any public money argument's. But the title isn't vacant. PBC don't want to risk Wilder losing to fat Andy. And if he won, he'd only be mandatory to a guy he's consistently failed against. So, there's not a chance this fight is made until there's a vacant title. Wilder will face his usual first round cherry pick blowout as he always does.
Then what is Andy Ruiz' excuse for not fighting Tyson Fury in September. Team Fury made him an offer as well and he rejected it; Just like he is rejecting Team Wilder's offer.
He wanted Fury to pay him $20Mil also. So obviously Ruiz is broken and his heart is no longer in the hurt business anymore. Which is why he is pricing himself out of these fights.
What you posted would have been true and made a lot of sense if he had rejected Wilder's offer to fight Tyson Fury but he rejected Fury's offer also. So what is the excuse?Comment

Wilder haters with the clouded judgement as usual. Ruiz is a good fighter. He upset AJ, then ate himself out of being competitive in the rematch.
Wilder's the A side in this matchup by a mile. Easily the biggest HW attraction in the US. 40% would be generous for Andy.Comment
