How well did Wilder’s last PPV sell? Without Tyson Fury?

About as well as Fury’s ratings on ESPN I suppose. Both of them did big money because they were fighting each other. I’d like to see the numbers for Ruiz’s standalone (ie no big name opposite) fights since we are comparing. There is no one in heavyweight division that pulls big ppv numbers in the usa..NO ONE. Regardless of race, ethnicity, or nationality..

If you believe Fury's claim about that, then you need to wake up. Fury can't even keep track of his own BS. Ruiz was never offered a fight. Fury has no interest in Ruiz. And neither does Wilder. The moment Wilder starts talking splits, we know the fight isn't even on the table. PBC don't do business in the media. Wilder has already been told he's not getting this fight. That's why he's shouting and balling about it. Winning fights in the media, he isn't going to be having in the ring. That's his style. If this was going to happen, there'd be no peep from him until its announced. Why haven't the WBC ordered the eliminator? Because PBC don't want it. Not until there's a vacant title to fight for. Then it'll get ordered and you'll not get any public money argument's. But the title isn't vacant. PBC don't want to risk Wilder losing to fat Andy. And if he won, he'd only be mandatory to a guy he's consistently failed against. So, there's not a chance this fight is made until there's a vacant title. Wilder will face his usual first round cherry pick blowout as he always does.

There was no percentage split announced from Team Wilder pal; Just a drafted $5 mil contract offer which Team Ruiz turned down. Those percentage talks only came from Andy Ruiz' father.

Even Wilder was amazed by the purse split announcement from Team Ruiz; Because the talks hadn't even gotten that far in the negotiations yet. Since Wilder's purse hadn't even been disclosed.
