40% vs Wilder will probz be atleast 3x more then Ruiz would get against any other heavyweight not being fury/Usyk.

I hope talk of this fight stops. We all know it's not happening. Both are under the same promotional banner, and if this fight was happening there'd be silence. It's one thing talking about who's the best, but the moment a split is mentioned, we know it's not on. History of Wilders career tells us, that when he's not getting a particular fight, he starts talking splits and blaming the other fighter. If it were up to Wilder then I'm sure he'd fight fat Andy. But it's not. It's decided by Wrinkle and Haymon. So knowing it's not happening, he will play this fight out on social media and claim he's the greatest. We've seen this movie before. This is all about ego, and self promotion, as he builds up towards the potential of a Joshua fight out in Saudi. And I'm still not convinced he'll be allowed to do that. The only way this fight happens, is if the WBC belt is vacant. You have to ask why that's not been ordered. But then the WBC have always been easily influenced in Wilders career. If Fury vacated tomorrow, that fight gets made easily, quickly and quietly, with no mention of splits. Because it guarantees PBC get their title back. There's no logic, at least PBCs view of it, in them fighting an eliminator. They won't have confidence in Wilder beating fat Andy, and Wilder is the main concern here, as he's also finkels fighter. And if Wilder did win, he's going to be mandatory to a fighter he can't beat. Then they have to influence the WBC not to order the mandatory fight. Wilder will fight a first round blowout citing short notice for the cherry pick. And claim a media victory over fat Andy, and blame him for the fight not happening, such as his track record has previously done, with other potential opponents.

What a ****** thing for Wilder to say, who has been stopped twice, and tasted the canvas no less than 5 times.
That said Wilder should get a 60/40 split of the overall purse, if the fight gets made, but not 70/30 which is more than half.
Just off of his arrogant demands for more than half of the purse, I hope that Ruiz is able to pull of another upset against another opponent who is favored to win.

I hear what you're saying Bronx2245, but Wilder demanding a 70/30 split, is just plain disrespectful.
Think about it, would you accept less than half for facing a murderous puncher like Wilder, if you were in Ruiz's shoe's?

He never said he was better. Wilder has more popularity and is the bigger draw. On the business side, Wilder deserves more.

Wilder doesn't need Ruiz. He should just move on and fight another opponent. I guarantee you that whoever he fights next; The WBC will sanction that bout as Deontay's final eliminator since Ruiz has forfeited his spot.

This. This to the nth degree. It has quickly become the most uninteresting high profile division. None of the top guys are doing anything

Not only that; If he wins he secures the mandatory spot for Tyson Fury's WBC heavyweight title.

Andy will be remembered as the buster Douglas of this generation. Except beating Tyson was a much bigger accomplishment than beating Anthony Joshua.

So why in the Hell did Ruiz duck Tyson Fury then for his title? He priced himself out of that fight too by demanding more than $20 MIl.

I think the man is emotionally sick, lonely, broken and depressed over his wife leaving him and he is neither mentally focused or fit to fight anyone at this particular time; Let alone a Deontay Wilder or a Tyson Fury.

This is all about Andy Ruiz not wanting to fight; Which is why he is pricing himself out of these fights. I wouldn't be surprised if he retires for good and work for his father's construction company.
