I don't think a future title shot should be even mentioned.
Anderson is no way near ready and has a lot of developing to do.

For me he fights like a much lighter fighter and while its giving him success as he has a speed and athletic advantage these bigger, taller HWs will make him pay. He has a lot of bad tendencies.
I actually thought the commentators did a better job of saying what he needed to do than his trainer did.

He is still only 23 & likely still filling out, he has time on his side.
I think he needs proper HW sparring instead of sparring vs fighters literally half his size.

How much credit did Kownacki get for beating Martin?

So it's not his job to worry about where his career is going? What a dummy.

Nobody can beat Frank Martin .

Martin is OK, I'm not convinced he is the 2nd coming of Sonny Liston, which seems to be what his supporters claim. I wonder if some folks are mixing him up with David Morrell, who, OK, is uber-talented. They both Bros from Cuba but there the similarity ends.

dan_cov I see what you're saying. I don't necessarily agree. I like that Jared is fast & springy & that he works on his defence. Also, he has sparred a lot with Tyson Fury so he has experience sparring a big, strong man. He's only 23 which is a baby by h/w standards. Over in UK we've got a guy, Daniel Dubois, who is Jared's age, is being rushed far too fast & will probably have his career ruined for him by ******, over-ambitious people. Jared should just take a deep breath & take his time for he has all the time in the world.
