    Why blame Canelo? Blame PBC!

Canelo signs a 3 fight deal for 100 million and this is the fight PBC gives us. Not Canelo / Benevidez, not Charlo / Tszyu.

Maybe they make up for it later with the next 2 fights but right now, this is crap.

50/50 maybe. PBC obviously has a say in the match ups but Canelo was obviously consulted on what the match ups would probably be before he signed the contract.

Canelo signs the contracts and gets what he wants. He's not an easily impressionable dumb kid like Floyd Schofield.

Canelo says "I want _______" and it happens. Unfortunately he probably said, "I want anyone but David Benavidez"

What impresses me the most is, how is Canelo still the face of boxing after his last three performances.

To be honest, I won`t watch him fight guys like Charlos, Andrade, Spence, not interested.

If Canelo wanted to avoid Benavidez he probably wouldn't have signed a deal with PBC but we'll see.

Fame and income doesn't directly correctly with ability and performance unfortunately. Same goes for other industries too. The highest paid actors and musicians etc aren't necessarily the best at their craft.

100%. Canelo is the guy dictating the terms here.

it seems unlikely. what seems likely is that pbc wants 3 ****s for their bucks. no guarantee that Canelo beats the Charlos but he probably does. That leaves us, finally, with Benevidez.

My prediction came true. Tzsyu vs Charlo will never happen. Not even in the distant future.

Sad part is it's facilitated by PBC. They could just have went on with the Tzsyu vs Charlo unification just not to disturb a logical process, but they totally went against the grain, or the normal direction of the flow. Tzsyu vs Charlo is totally gone, gone, gone.

What would be funny, in a sad way, is if while PBC is wasting time with 2 lame fights, Benevidez trips over someone he underestimated and the whole Benevidez /Canelo matchup gets dashed against the rocks before it can make port.

Exactly. If Canelo gets destroyed in the first fight of this deal, the second and third fights don't sell as well. Not good for Canelo or PBC. They're both willing partners in this.
