pbc is the same organization that tricked wilder into taking much less moeny so the pbc could make more money. great managing!
Why blame Canelo? Blame PBC!

It's a long wait for Benavidez. No to mention his last fight was already four months old.
And also considering fights in this sport take way too long to make, especially for high profile ones.
We're seeing at least one more year of sitting around doing nothing but wait. And then all kinds of things
can happen in that course of time, injuries, rematches, controversies, you name it.
I don't see Morrell vs Benavidez happening any time soon. It's really never good when there's only one face of boxing.Comment

Mell dont have to take the fight if he dont want to just like Ryan Garcia didnt have to agree to any stipulations. I love how the hypocrites change narratives when their fighter is on the wrong side of negotiations. Besides, Mell has a chance, all Ive heard since Ryder is Canelos declining.Comment

Blame the "fans". Yesterday's narrative was,
Canelo doesn't fight black fighters
Black fighters give Canelo problems
Canelo scared of black athletic boxers
Canelo fights Euro stiffs instead of American black boxers
Canelo scared of the Charlos and Andrade.
Canelo shouldn't be fighting Jermall Charlo, better off fighting the brother who's a unified champ
All actual quotes I've seen from people here and other places
Well he signs on to fight a black, American, athletic, world champion boxer and everyone's still b.itching and crying!Comment

It is hard to ignore the fact it works out for PBC as well, Jermell out with an injury that lasts until the day he signs to fight Canelo.
In a couple of weeks, when/if Crawford beats Spence, he would have started calling out Charlo and putting pressure for WW/JMW undisputed. And of course Tyszu has been waiting.

I believe Jermell Charlo injected himself into the deal without being asked to avoid the Tzsyu fight. Why all of a sudden his injury is no longer an issue?Mell dont have to take the fight if he dont want to just like Ryan Garcia didnt have to agree to any stipulations. I love how the hypocrites change narratives when their fighter is on the wrong side of negotiations. Besides, Mell has a chance, all Ive heard since Ryder is Canelos declining.Comment

What is blame, because their business model first and foremost, is to make money, so they make fights they think they can make money from while keeping their top guy winning yet if he loses, it's to their own guy so it's not a big loss as it is to another promoter, there is nothing to blame these are businessmen, without them boxing would collapse overnight.
There are actually a lot of credible guys that like the fight, I don't care one way or other but I don't not like the fight, Im neutral on it, its boxing and I,ll be watching it, I reckon you are too invested in the my guy concept instead of just stepping back and enjoying the good fights when we get them, this year has been great and all the fan moaning and hating is numbing.Comment

If PBC was calling the shots then we shouldn't have heard anything about Canelo fighting Jermall first. Most likely he asked for Jermall, Jermall refused so then he asked for Jermell...
Anyways, you hypocrites crack me up. It's not Canelo's fault the sanctioning bodies are not forcing him to defend his belts against the top 168 pounders.Comment
