I still refuse to believe this is happening. I was excited when Canelo signed with PBC because I said finally we're going to get the fights we wanted. But instead it loos as though he's bringing that BS with him. This ****s up rtwo good fights I wanted this year: Canelo v David and Jermell v Tim Kud-zoo. Dammit!

Avoidance is not taking a better deal lol, fkd if I know what shed youre in, avoidance is taking less pay less risk and going somewhere else, and to showcase how sharp you are then you call it a duck lol.
As I said, he’s avoiding Tszyu by very definition.

      Avoidance
The action of keeping away from or not doing something.

The action of repudiating, nullifying, or rendering void a decree or contract.

It speaks to desperation, Canelo's need to look far and wide for a big ticket foe. He couldn't get Bivol on his terms while Benevidez was forced to consider other options after his honest showing against Plant. So he looked to Badou Jack, something I said he'd do given Jack's age and the fact that Jack was no longer fighting at his natural weight. He tried to get Jack to train in a sauna so as to be about 20lbs under the cruiser limit. Then rumor had it he was looking to dust off finished remnants of a damaged fighter who hasn't been in a ring for 2 years. Suddenly he is signed to face said finished fighter's 1-year inactive brother from two weight divisions below him. Incredible. Absolutely incredible! And his spin on the match-up is suggestive of his desperation. "Two undisputed champions facing each other". This reminds me of Oscar De La Hoya's transparent attempt to breath life into his career against Manny Pacquiao, who by then was streaking but had yet to show us how great he would become. Back in 2008, it appeared Oscar was just looking for a far smaller foe.

Here's hoping Charlo somehow zooms Alvarez.

Its to bad that carrot top has to do things like this for legacy, its not legacy when ur avoiding the best- everything has been pre programmed - old school fighters fought the best against the best- boxing is wack right now with everyone only paying attention to the money game

These Charlo twins are an embarrassment to boxing, they just don’t fight.WTF! The old timers would crack up seeing the state of boxing these days. And I hate to say it but something gotta change soon because boxing is a dying sport.

Only in boxing would you see this kind of nonsense. Obviously, Canelo should be facing Benavidez and Charlo should be facing Tszyu. The only way to discourage this type of thing is to simply refuse to pay to watch Canelo vs Charlo.

Mikey fought Spence to duck Loma, canelo fought bivol to duck db, Khan fought canelo to duck brook, and now Charlo fights canelo to duck tsyzu. They don't wanna take an L in their own division so this way they can say they only lost cause of the size difference is the main reason and getting a bigger check to go with it just seals the deal.

Ive followed the sport for over 50 ys and believe me its not dead it will never be dead and nothing has changed other than social media spinning BS all over the place, in my day I had B/W TV, no internet, no cable, no mobile phone, the news only came via mainstream and buying magazines, there was just the same amount of BS going on only nobody heard about it unless you went out your way to find out, today not only do we hear about things its an avalanche of stories surrounding everything that happens, and 99% of it is total horse sht, there is so much distortion today that is leading the masses by the nose it's no wonder we are on the road to planet reset, young people today dont realize how fast its all going.
Finally a revelent observation rising from the quagmire. I also have be a fan for over 50 years and could not have said it better, EXCELLENT POST.

Sorry Tim, call it what you want, but had Canelo called you, would you say, "Nah Canelo, I want Jermell Charlo?"
