Meanwhile, Wilder's only losses were to Fury in lineal title fights while Ruiz got beat by bum ass Joe Parker for a vacant belt that was stripped from Fury.
And let's go even deeper than Stivene/Joshua and the names in common (Arreola/Ortiz/Liakhovich). Who's next best for Andy? Dimitrenko? Kevin Johnson? Devin Vargas? Wilder's resume is pretty thin but Breazeale, Szpilka, Duhaupas, Washington, and even old man Helenius are better than freaking Vargas and Johnson.
I get it, heavyweight is a trash division. Not one guy in the division has 5 good wins. But to say that Ruiz has the better resume is nuts. He easily could've lost that Ortiz fight and Ortiz was so shot he could barely stand up. Boxing Scene scored it 113-112 Ortiz despite 3 knockdowns. And this is a full 5 years after Wilder knocked him out the first time.
That said, I think Wilder can take it.
Ahhh, another thing: Wilder should have lost the first fight against Ortiz and got protected in the ring.

Andy and his dad dont really seem to care about his boxing career much at this point. If they did theyd realize Andy is best when hes active. Its bad advice to come off the couch to fight one of the most viscous punchers in boxing history.Last edited by Boxfan83; 07-03-2023, 05:13 PM.nghtmr111 likes this.

Deontay Wilders resume is just as good or better than Tyson Fury's, who OUTWEIGHED him by a ridiculous 40 pounds. Deontay Wilder is the only man on the planet that ever put that overgrown giant Tyson Fury on his big azz four times. Deontay Wilder is a straight up WARRIOR and everybody knows it.nghtmr111 likes this.

Anybody that says Deontay Wilder can't attact massive FIGHT crowds is a straight up LIAR. People love seein a knock-out artist. People rather see a knock out artist like Deontay Wilder rather than a big awkward lummox like tyson fury who has to come into the ring weighing dam near 300 pounds to try an keep his azz from gettin knocked out! His team admitted it. As a matter of fact: When is tyson fury's next fight? Nobody knows and nobody cares. tyson fury could retire today and nobody in the fight game would miss him because he's unexcitingLast edited by zipped; 06-29-2023, 03:36 PM.

And I don't know why PBC keeps ignoring their guys who still have something left. They won't do Frank Sanchez vs Charles Martin. Do you know that Frank Sanchez's last cherry was already beat by Martin four years ago by TKO?

Wilder's last fight did 75K PPVs. Without Fury, AJ, Andy or Uysk, he won't sniff anywhere close to 100K PPVs. Andy's last fight did 65K PPVs, the same can be said for him.JakeTheBoxer likes this.
