Lowballing with 30% offers isn’t going to get it done. Wilder isn’t Tyson Fury, he isn’t the world champion. And Ruiz brings value to the table, he is no Dillian Shyte.

He brings value, less value than Wilder. I guess you could argue for 60/40 but 50/50 is not deserved.

I can understand Ruiz wanting a 50-50 split, but using a 12 round decision win over grandpa Ortiz as a negotiating piece after Wilder KO'd a better, younger version of him is laughable. Wilder's three fights vs Fury give him big clout, since he dropped Tyson in two of them, but because he lost 2 of them, the clout is somewhat reduced. Andy of course, has the big win over Joshua, but the loss 6 months later takes some of the steam off that too. Wilder stopped Arreola, while Andy won a close, controversial decision. To me, 60-40 favoring Wilder sounds fair, based on his 3 wars with Fury and overall better success vs common foes with Andy.

You ignored the fact that Wilder had WAY better PPV numbers when he fought Ortiz than Ruiz did, and also had more PPV vs Helenius than Ruiz did vs Ortiz. That coveted Mexican fanbase still isn't getting Ruiz more PPV buys than Wilder. PPV numbers and Ruiz looking terrible in ALL of his recent fights would suggest that 30-40% is the max he's ever going to get.

Andy Ruiz vs Luis Ortiz sold 65k PPV. Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz did over 225k PPV. His most recent fight vs Helenius did 75k PPV, not great, but still more than Ruiz vs a more well-known opponent. Wilder KO'd Ortiz twice when he was younger, Ruiz struggled with him. Wilder beat up Areola for 12 rounds, Ruiz struggled with him. Andy Ruiz is undisciplined and shows up to fights fat and out of shape.

First of all, admit you're wrong about fat marshmallow man selling more tickets, and second explain why he would deserve more than 30% when he's not proven to be on Wilder's level.

One KD in the Ortiz and Arreola fight doesn't mean Andy was struggling. Andy easily outboxed Arreola and battered Ortiz for most of the fight. Wilder was almost knocked out and beaten in both fights against Ortiz.

Besides that Andy beat AJ to get his title while Wilder ducked the Klitschko brothers until they retired to fight some bum for their title.

Since Andy lost to AJ he hasn't lost a fight while Wilder has taken two humiliating one sided beatdowns from Fury and a terrible victory against his sparring partner.

50/50 is fair. 70/30 is a clear duck.
