Pretty much whoever wins this tournament has a great chance to go on and eclipse what Joe did with his career (I don't think Taylor or Abraham are taking it).

Froch just can't stop whining about Calzaghe and mind his own career, which is uncomparable to Joe' career.Last edited by GatecrasherUA; 10-01-2009, 08:28 AM.Comment

For Real, Calzaghe should stay out of boxing. Whats the word on his father? Is he still training prize fighters? Or is he retired too. I'm not really into UK fighters per se, but i'm starting to take a liking to Carl Froch. It looks like he gots some hammers. Perhaps he'll catch on and start fighting in the states more often, after the tournament that is. I'm goin wit Andre Ward to win the whole thing. I know the odds are stacked against him, but i want him to take it.Comment

He was probably asked a question at the conference about Joe. Its not like he was just randomly ranting about him.
I do still think hes trying to lure Joe. Hes using reverse pyschology. Telling Joe to stay retired for his own good etc. Its the same with Hatton, the more people tell him to retire, the more determined it seems to make him to wanna come back. If Froch wins the tourney, I think Joe comes back.Comment

Pascal and Taylor.....Pascal and Taylor.......Pascal and Taylor.....every time the Cobra gets some mic time!!
......sounding like Joe with his Kessler and Lacy scratched record!!
Froch talkin' about Kessler when Dirrell is on the menu!!!

What are you guys talking about? Did anyone read the article? Of course not, just the headliner.
Anyway, he gives Calzaghe major props and says he's a great warrior who deserves to enjoy and spend time with his family. And it sounds like he was asked about Joe. Of course, no reader ever wonders what the question was when they hear some random thing a fighter said.Comment
