Some of you lot are pretty dim. He was probably asked about Calzaghe in a interview, you know he had a press conference the other day and you usually get asked about a million questions from different reporters. Why would he go out of his way and do a press release saying 'Calzaghe should stay retired'?

Come on now.

Calzaghe came out the following day and stated, correctly, that he was retired, he had no motivation to come back and that he would take Froch apart.

Look at Froch in all his fights, left hand is always down by his side, he comes forward and is durable and fit, but against a quick counter punching boxer, like Calzaghe his career would have been over.

I see it the same way also. Kessler better hope to not get caught, Froch is a hard hitter. Still, I see Kessler winning a U.D or stopping him late.

Kessler has a solid uppercut as well, plus I don't think he will have a problem matching Froch's stamina.

That's a great point. If Froch was to somehow win the super six and stay undefeated doing so, then Calzaghe's pride will take one awful kick to the wheels.
