Canelo took the biggest pay he could to end his career on, he will fight charlo but past that he ain’t getting another soft touch out of that 3 fight deal. He gets fed to Benavides in the end. Bivol was the rude awakening that launched all of this, he can’t beat him and he ain’t beating beterbiev.

This is the difference between American promoters and everyone else. Hearn gracious in defeat, Oscar, Arum and the other promoters would of trash Canelo and PBC for making the deal.

So now Hearn has big plans for his long time cash cow , Joshua , to fight two fighters who have recently been absolutely mauled and brutally KO'd and he wonders why PCB is getting plaudits . Fans have seen through the gimmicks that Hearn presents , his main 'ambition' for 2023 it seems is to match a drug banned fighter against a weight drained fighter who was just badly KO'd .Talk about clueless!
Keep bringing these class fights PCB they are long overdue.

Pbc was tempting canelo for a long time they know whos the real face of boxing and the real moneymaker.

Canelo-Benavides /Charlo/Morrell or Spence at 165. Sucess is pretty much guaranteed and Eddie knows it, good to see him gracious in defeat, im sure he can still make some good fights just need to copromote with fishnets more often.

Maybe pull a 'haymon maneuver'later on to sign what is left of GBP roster lol.

Canelo is in hustling mode and looking for another DAZN sucker to pay him for BS fights. His time fighting BS UK fighters is over. PBC will feed him to Charlo, Morrel, and Benny if he survives. Canelo is washed up and only looking to hustle some TV network who like DAZN is too ****** to figure out the Canelo hustle.

Good for PBC for capturing the Face Of Boxing this year.

What is sad is the thought why this sport can't produce more than one face of boxing despite hundreds of them. Fights that are supposed to happen are not getting made because they are waiting for their turn for the face of boxing.

“The face of boxing” is a mythical title invented by the boxing establishment that previously crowned people like Oscar delahoya, Floyd Mayweather, junior cesar chavez etc. it’s a title that comes along when there is no dominant heavyweight and it means the boxing establishment has gotten behind one individual to push its overall fiscal agenda. That’s what it really means. The biggest draws right now are really Tank Davis and Errol Spence but they have not been given that mythical crown title

Sad thing about the narcissist Hearn, all he had to do when he came to America was be diplomatic and build bridges. He came here thinking in was his “manifest destiny” to colonize the usa and make it bow down to him. He set his target firmly on putting Al Haymon and pbc out of business. He didn’t want to do that to golden boy or top rank, he wanted Al Haymon and pbc out of business…after working with them for two years to get British fighters paydays in the usa. Hearn burnt bridges with his arrogance. He broke the cardinal rule of diplomacy, cultural arrogance. He never realised he was a guest in the usa and as a guest in another man’s land, you don’t act as if you’re in charge. Now he is eating crow, he’s not even the top promoter on the U.K. anymore and can’t build just one American star..not one. You reap what you sew..

Even if Hearn kept Canelo, it would still be a better year for PBC than Matchroom. Hearn just hasn't staged that many worthwhile fights this year, especially if we're only considering his US shows.
