Personally I could care less how many multimillions DAZN has - the owner Blavatnik, even after losing multi-millions as you say, has multi-millions left over - if he lost 99% of what he has left he'd still have more than I have earned all my long life until now. I could care less if he loses it all.

But a lot of people on here, you included, seem to take much satisfaction if Eddie Hearn and/or DAZN are doing badly. Why is that? I'd suggest that they have some kind of hatred or jealousy of Hearn - thinking rightly or wrongly that if DAZN pulls out of boxing then Hearn will fail and pull out of boxing too.

I want them all to succeed and all to work together. I want to see the best fights. This is a great year so far. Arum and Sulaiman are holding up Bivol-Beterbiev and the HWs are pi55in around - if that could get sorted it's be a perfect boxing year. How much money they all make or lose is only as relevant as it relates to getting fights made or not.

As I just told you, DAZN lost multimillions.

2022 wasn’t a good year for Matchroom period. They didn’t put on one big fight in the UK and their big US fights flopped at the box office.

i don't think he cares much if they get mugged - every great fighter loses at some point unless you're called mayweather or calzaghe. he can't say that of course, neither to them or in public. No promoter can, it'd be there Gerald Ratner moment.

But he did 4 money making shows with joshua and Canelo. And the fans saw 4 fights they wanted to see get made - not so much the 3rd Golovkin fight.

Similarly, I don't care who wins Spence/Bud - i'm just glad it got made at last. Same Loma - Haney. I hope Joshua-Wilder gets made too

And as I told you - I don't care about DAZN and if Blavtanik goes broke tomorrow. I asked you why do you care so much about DAZN's finances - is it because you think DAZN failing will see Hearn fail?

My original first post was all about Hearn giving praise to PBC for 2023 - I took the positive out of it. But you took the negative out of it with him claiming 2022 was a good year for him. Again, why?

You literally just said the most important thing was making money you lunatic. Now you suddenly don’t care.

DAZN lost money on Matchroom’s watch. Canelo-GGG 3 flopped at the box office, they lost the lucrative UK rights for Usyk-AJ 2 to Sky, Eubank-Benn fell apart and was a complete waste of time/money.

Why are you desperate to defend Matchroom/DAZN when they objectively had a bad year in 2022?

i wondered when you were going to get personal.

The most important thing for a promoter is making money ------ I could care less how much money promoters make or lose. Can you see the difference?

Now you're trying to flip it in to me defending Hearn's statement. Nice try but no dice.

I assume Matchroom made money from those 4 shows plus the Taylor Serrano show. That is why they are in business and what they are trying to do. If they didn't and I'm wrong, I don't care that they lost money.

I really have no interest in how much money Hearn/DAZN make in any given year, But ... I do have a vested interest in seeing all boxing promoters succeed and most of all work together.

I'll try for a third time - as up to now you haven't answered. Why do you attack Hearn and DAZN? What is it about Hearn that bothers you so much?

You simply change the narrative when it suits you.

“Making money is the most important thing”. DAZN/Matchroom lost money. “I don’t care about them losing money”. Complete hypocrisy.

                Where am I attacking them?

They objectively didn’t have a good year in 2022. The accounts support that. The box office numbers support that. The cumulative ticket sales support that. The comparison to previous years support that.

Why are you so DESPERATE to defend them when they objectively didn’t have a good year in 2022?

Good for PBC for capturing the Face Of Boxing this year.

What is sad is the thought why this sport can't produce more than one face of boxing despite hundreds of them. Fights that are supposed to happen are not getting made because they are waiting for their turn for the face of boxing.

You have a reading comprehension issue and/or are just making stuff up - probably both but definitely the latter. I have been clear from the beginning. Promoters want to make money. I suspect Hearn made money in 2022. If he or DAZN didn't, as you say, I really don't care. Show me where i changed the narrative.

Ok, it's clear - your reading comprehension isn't up to much. This is not an example of hypocrisy. I am stating that FOR THEM making money is the most important thing. It is not important FOR ME at all how much money they make. Is that really difficult to understand?.

Why are you so DESPERATE to defend them when they objectively didn’t have a good year in 2022?

I suspect that they made money in 2022. I haven't seen the accounts. I already said I don't care in 2 previous posts.

You say the accounts support that? Which accounts? We are talking about Eddie Hearn and Matchroom right? I was going to say send me a link to Matchroom accounts = but please don't for your sake or mine - there are better ways to spend a Sunday

well kind of but not really. I think its a media thing "the face of boxing" - it's a common phrase now "the face of ....... " insert what you want. a year, the face of 2022 etc. The face of women's tennis - Serena.

But as of right now, seems to me that several boxers are trying to be the face or a face of boxing. Haney, Teo, Bud, Errol, Tank, Canelo, Fury
