Canelo choosing Charlo over Benavidez is a blatant duck.

Morrell been calling out Benavidez, talking smack about him and his team, Benavidez going to accept or duck?Comment

From Benavidez's point of view, its risk-reward sort of thing, Morrell has nothing to lose and brings an interim belt which is worthless, has nine fights no real fan momentum while DB is on the verge of some huge fights, I think the whole thing surrounding who is fighting who at the top has a lot more to do with the business weighing up risk vs reward.Comment

I had forgotten Charlo has been inactive for over 2 yrs, looks pretty bad. Not even sure what weight class this fight is going to take place at.Comment

Nah, the only troll on here is you with your constant crying and complaining that Canelo isn't fighting Benavidez next.Comment

Might be considered prime.
There are a few fighters who had long layoffs and came back to have a decent career.
I don't think Charlo is one of them.
This has the stench of a cash out ''fight''.
I am very disappointed in NeloComment

And when you think about it, avoiding a fight could be for any number of reasons and every top-line fighter avoids fights when they have many lucrative options this is not just Canelo its every superstar that ever emerged the bigger they get the more choice they have, if you ask me it inevitable, the part that doesn't sit right with me is how fans automatically think fear and with great fighters that's the last thing it is.
Im not a Canelo fan I just recognize where he is in boxing, as far I can tell he ain't scared of any fighter, he is an elite champion and Im sure his managerial team and influences avoids fights, not saying I like it but I know its real right across history the moment it transitioned from a grudge fight behind the shed into Prize Fighting, Duck is such a fan terminology word I never gelled with, to a fan its fear and the really top guys don't fear another man.Comment
